Tonight was my first night at this dojo. I was a bit nervous as my martial arts background differs slightly from this style. Sensei Carter and Sensei Pete made it an easy transition and were very patient in dealing with me. They were both very friendly and made learning from them enjoyable. Thank you for a good experience, I will most definitely be back.
My teenage son has been at Nemuri Kuma for a couple of years and really loves it. The teachers are warm and encouraging. There is a nice variety of instruction and a lot of personal development. My son has developed confidence, both physically and mentally and really enjoys the atmosphere of camaraderie in the adult evening classes. I appreciate the reasonable cost and the fact that there is no contract. I would recommend Nemuri Kuma without reservation.
Sensei Larry is great and does a good job working with kids. My son is 7 and loves coming here and is always excited to go to class. The other students are also friendly. He’s been learning strength, coordination, agility, and self defense.
